Greetings,
I haven't written from here in a while so I need to do some updating. I thought I would begin with the aftermath and recovery of Hurricane Katrina. It appears that New Orleans will be a disaster for sometime to come. The Evacatuation is moving along and now officials are forcing the individuals who choose to stay there are making them leave. Why stay in a ghost town?
Of course, the blaming is begining now and the finger pointing is always at George Bush. But from what has taken place since the hurrican hit, is fairly obvious to most people who can read and listen to reports coming out of New Orleans that the city let the people down. The state let the people down, not the Federal Government.
The appointment of Judge John Roberts to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court would be a crowning achievement in George Bush's legacy. Now, whom will he appoint to fill Sandra Day O'Conner's position?
